About Us

Dr. John Diaz is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience helping patients look and feel their best. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he studied biology and pre-medical sciences, and went on to attend the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York on a scholarship. He received his M.D. with Distinction in Research and was honored with Alpha Omega Alpha recognition, awarded to the top 10% of medical students nationwide.

Dr. Diaz was one of only approximately 30 students in the country selected for an integrated plastic surgery training program. After completing his surgical training, he moved to Beverly Hills to establish his private practice. Dr. Diaz has written numerous articles and books about topics in plastic surgery. He is a published author of original research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a frequent guest lecturer at local and national meetings around the United States. Dr. Diaz was recognized for his work by being elected the president of the Society of Plastic Surgeons and served in this role for 5 years.

His reputation as a leader and innovator has led to numerous features and interviews in national and international newspapers, magazines, and television programs.

Throughout his career, Dr. Diaz has cared for countless patients seeking to improve their appearance, many of whom also asked for guidance on weight, nutrition, and overall wellness. That experience inspired him to create RxSpan MD, a practice dedicated to helping patients extend their healthspan through thoughtfully prescribed medications. RxSpan MD focuses on weight loss, hormone balance, sexual health, hair loss prevention, and longevity.

Dr. Diaz believes that improving one's appearance is only one part of living better. Through RxSpan MD, he is committed to helping patients enhance their health, confidence, and quality of life at every stage.
